THE LONE WOLF ROCKET 88 HOUSEROCKER®
A Distortion Pedal with Fat Vintage Tone
One of the first things that you will notice about the Rocket 88 Houserocker is that it is not a "fuzz" distortion pedal. The Houserocker pedal provides tube-like clipping distortion with a full range of clean to hard grit. The LEDs produce a soft clipping distortion, as they begin to conduct. The distortion produced is very similar to vacuum tube distortion. The soft clip is visibly evident by the dim lighting of the LED on the face of the pedal. As the DRIVE is increased, the LED clips harder and begins to glow brighter: the brighter the LED, the harder the clip. The tone is very close to vacuum tube distortion but without the overtones produced by tubes. The Houserocker also features a 10dB mid BASS BOOST control to add a fat bottom end to your tone. As with all of the Lone Wolf products, you will find this pedal easy to set and quick to find your favorite tones. This pedal is a great tool when vintage tone is desired. The Rocket 88 Houserocker offers all of this and a 60-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied for any reason.
The settings are very basic. For a clean tone, turn the DRIVE counterclockwise and turn clockwise as you desire more distortion. Increasing the DRIVE also increases volume, so you will need to turn the VOLUME control down to prevent feedback. It is really simple: increase DRIVE and decrease VOLUME or decrease DRIVE and increase VOLUME. The BASS BOOST will provide up to 20dB of increased level in low frequencies that provides a lot of bottom for your tone.
The Houserocker operates off of a 9 volt battery or a 9V DC power adapter. The battery is switched OFF when an external power adapter is used, saving battery life. The AC adapter requirements are a 9V DC with a minimum 200mA output and a 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector with a negative center surrounded by a positive outside. Adapters for US and EURO customers to power their Rocket 88 Delays are available at the company store.

"The distortion is great - that bass knob makes the pedal very diverse. We are still excited to work with your products."

"The Rocket 88 Houserocker pedal is fantastic! I've had compliments on its sound and really like the range it allows me. Sounds great with each guitar I've run through it (my main guitar is a tele). Thanks again!"
